My ears are still ringing from yesterday. We arrived on time, and managed to get all our equipment on stage, where Landslip had already set up their gear. Around 10 o’clock we hit the stage. We opened explosively with ‘Battery’, followed by ‘Creeping Death’. The crowd was a bit shy, but we could see they enjoyed it. Halfway into the show, we went to playing the hit singles ‘One’ and ‘Enter Sandman’, which got Hijum going a little wild.

We closed the show with ‘Seek and Destroy’, and took the time to hand out our first batch of free promo cd’s. To all the people that managed to get one: we hope you enjoy it. To everyone that was at the show: thanks for being there and singing along. We heard you pretty good.

With very little time on my hands (Sinterklaas shopping today), I managed to get the theme back somewhat. Our hosting provider could not help me with a backup (which I should have done myself). So I started from scratch. The graphics were still intact, so it was just HTML and CSS I had to create again. But that’s my job, so no big deal.

Now to prepare for the gig in Hijum tonight! Preparing my voice and blasting out Master Of Puppets in my car stereo!

Even professionals make stupid mistakes. Yesterday I updated the website CMS system, which overwrote the default template, which I had modified.

Right now I’m trying to get it back some way… hope it’s possible… until then, you’ll have to do with this boring template….
